I have been massaging for nearly nine years, working more recently in sports and remedial massage, and with onsite massage therapies at companies.
I started off in Selfridges in London and worked my way in different areas such as clinics, spas and offices. I found this interesting, working with lots of people, but also found myself wanting to work in as many different areas as possible.
I was then lucky enough to get some work massaging people with severe and physical disabilities, in particular those with cerebral palsy and autism. I felt very strongly about this and really did get a lot out of it, which has led to more work in this field and has become something that is now part of my regular working week, such as working with the Womens Service.
Regardless of your background, I believe we all need a bit of pampering. My sessions also include advice personal to you, where for example, even just little changes to your seated position can make a real difference.
